This module is primarily intended for those filmmakers participating in the Independent Filmmaking Certificate Program. Others may attend by approval of the faculty. Students will take use of their knowledge in screenwriting, pre-production, production design, filming, and directing acquired in the preceding weeks of the program.
Extensive classroom and hand-on learning in scene structure, storyboarding, budgeting, scheduling, location scouting, equipment selection, crew positions, directing and interviewing techniques, continuity, composition, and lighting will culminate in six weeks of mentored production time. Students have access to equipment and resources available on campus while they complete their independent work. A final screening of the IFCP films will be presented on May 31, 2015.
