This is a master class for professional Final Cut Pro editors who want to spend a week with an expert delving into the under-utilized professional features of this editing application. This workshop explores the advanced features of Final Cut Pro 7 and focuses on workflow, methodology, and project organization for editors in all fields, including education, broadcast and the film community. This is a highly technical course covering topics such as xml, advanced media management, color correction, and working with various high definition and DSLR/Tapeless video formats. Students learn a structured approach to editing each project and how to optimize a workstation. The instructor will provide students with specific projects to edit and each student will have the opportunity to share projects and challenges with the class. Students must have at least one year of professional experience with Final Cut Pro or have taken Final Cut Pro 101.
