Web interactivity is an essential component of multimedia. Adobe Flash allows content gatherers to create interactive websites that encourage viewers to participate with their projects. Students create Flash-based websites from the ground up, using their own content as the structure for the design. Through daily tutorials and assignments, students will learn the essentials of both interactive design and Adobe Flash. Students need to have a basic understanding of Adobe Flash before coming to the workshop. Computers with Adobe Flash are provided, however students should bring an external hard drive on which to save their projects. Students should also bring finished photographic or multimedia projects to be incorporated into their Flash assignments.
