AVID Media Composer software is now more open and interactive than ever, so you can work with practically any media form. This 2-Day workshop introduces students to the core skills, workflow, and concepts involved in nonlinear editing on Avid Media Composer.  Learn to prepare for editing, organize source material bins, basic editing techniques with sync and non-sync material, trimming and fine-tuning video and audio customizing the system.  Understanding effects performance and rendering, automatic color correction, creating titles, creating motion effects, managing projects and media and out putting work. This workshop is divided between demonstration and hands-on editing experience. This is excellent workshop for those transferring from FCP.
