Creative corporate video scriptwriting is a crucial element in today's competitive marketplace. This workshop is for freelance and staff writers, producers, directors and corporate multimedia managers who seek a fresh take on the scriptwriting process that results in work that is as focused and creative as it is informative. The week combines formal lectures and discussions with in-class writing and creative assignments, relevant video examples and field trips. The production process, different script styles, techniques to improve visualization and ideation, as well as the fundamentals of script pacing and transitions, are explored in this class. Students have the opportunity to brainstorm, develop and refine concepts, and present ideas. Participants should bring work-in-progress and/or project ideas to develop into a corporate video script.
