Digital photographers are familiar with bitmap graphics and the world of pixels and resolution. In this course students leave pixels behind and dive into the exciting world of vector graphics using Adobe Illustrator. Participants experiment with creating vectors from photos and learn the basics of custom illustration. Through a series of in-class exercises and projects, students explore the fundamentals of design, identity branding, and logo development as well as the art of packaging design.
