Digital Services Department Manager
The Digital Services Department Manager oversees the Digital Services Department Staff in the processing, contacting and printing of student work. The manager works with instructors and meets with classes each Monday morning to discuss rules and regulations of the Digital Services Department. The manager is responsible for training the Digital Services Department staff, scheduling staff hours, ordering supplies, and maintaining the printing systems both in the Digital Services Department and in classrooms. The DSD is responsible for the processing of all student, staff and custom printing, equipment inventory, all equipment checkout and appropriate return, as well as working with the IT department to set up the digital labs, calibrate classroom computers and projectors each week. The Digital Services Department Manger works with the other staff to prepare student images for the weekly celebration of work. The Manager must have experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, scanning, digital printing, and color management. Experience working in commercial customer service or management is required. This position will involve working evenings and weekends and requires excellent organization and communication skills. The Digital Services Department Manager is assisted by the Digital Services Department Techs and Intern.
June 1 – November 1
$400 per week plus meals when campus kitchen is serving (Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast).
Digital Services Department Technician
The Digital Service Dept. Tech works with the Digital Services Department Manager in the daily operation of the Digital Services Department processing/contacting/printing student work, providing hardware and software technical support to digital classes and maintaining Digital Services Department equipment and inventory. This position requires experience in a commercial lab, troubleshooting skills, color management, excellent organization, communication skills and a flexible work schedule with nighttime and weekend hours. Evening slideshow presentation attendance may be necessary to provide digital support on Monday and Tuesday nights. Position hire date and end dates may be differ slightly from date posted.

Digital Services Department Intern
This individual assists the Digital Teaching Assistants to run workshops, providing tech support and troubleshooting software/hardware issues for Macintosh computers. Scanning film and prints, running errands, photocopying, keeping the labs clean and organized as well as maintaining and operating Digital Service Department equipment. Macintosh software/hardware computer skills, knowledge in Photoshop, Lightroom, and InDesign is encouraged. This position may involve some night and weekend hours.
