Gifts of Support

Maine Media Workshops is considered the preeminent workshop for film and photography education in the United States, and perhaps the world. Now revitalized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the school is poised to reach a new level of growth through an exciting vision for the future.

Gifts to the Workshops annual fund are gratefully accepted throughout the year. This support allows for the purchase of new equipment and technologies, improvements to campus facilities, and to the Workshops Scholarship Fund. Volunteer at the Workshops

The Workshops has formed a volunteer group to support the school’s activities and to extend its outreach into the Midcoast community. Volunteers may get involved in all areas of the school from student services to education, hospitality, and fundraising. Specific areas of immediate need include the oversight of the school’s extensive library of photographic and filmmaking materials, as well as planning for community events next summer.
