Photo District News has just extended the Photography Annual competition entry deadline to February 17. With over $20,000 in prizes awarded at a celebration in May 2010, this is one of the industry’s biggest events of the year.

2010 marks the inaugural year for The Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Portraiture. Funded by The Arnold and Augusta Newman Foundation, and supported by Maine Media Workshops, PDN, and ASMP, the prize includes an award of $15,000 for the winner and a solo exhibition at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine.
