Will Yurman is a photojournalist  and mutitmedia producer and is a senior lecturer at Penn State University. He has taught at many workshops including the Northern Short Course, the Great White North Photojournalism Workshop in Toronto, the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar, the National Press Photographer’s Immersion Workshops and the Online News Association annual workshop.
Will is a long-time innovator in multimedia storytelling – combining photographs, audio and video. His work features strong visual content, driven by natural sound and the subject's own words. He has been recognized in the Best of Photography and Picture of the Year International competitions for his still photography and multimedia work. A two-time NPPA Region 2 Photographer of the Year, Will is most proud of his documentary, Not Forgotten,  exhibited at the George Eastman House, which follows the lives of every homicide victim in Rochester over one year.
 
Will has been a photographer for over 25 years in Alaska, Buffalo and the Middle East.
