Shane Hofeldt is an editor and filmmaker who works primarily in non-fiction, including feature documentaries, documentary shorts, and industrials. He is also an experienced script supervisor. He is currently editing a documentary about a musical duo recording their first album and is shooting a film about a group of Boston youth learning the art of cooking and baking.

Shane collaborates with several non-profit organizations both domestically and abroad helping them use films to share their stories. He is an alumni of The Workshops and has led courses in post-production for several years. He has taught filmmaking to high school students as well as adults.

Shane was a member of Maine Media College faculty for two years teaching production and editing in the Professional Certificate Program.
