Patty Wight is a freelance audio producer. She attended the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies radio program in the fall of 2000. After graduating, she interned at the daily news program Maine Things Considered, and then worked as a reporter. She began assisting Salt radio classes in 2004, became a teacher in 2007, and taught through the spring of 2010.

Patty has produced pieces for All Things Considered, Weekend Edition Sunday, The World Vision Report, as well as for private organizations. Most recently, she produced a 5-part documentary for Maine Things Considered about the 2010 Maine governor’s race. She lives in Freeport, Maine.
