© Seth BrownPatrisha McLean has parlayed her love for children into a thriving, 20-year children’s portrait business in Camden, Maine and career as a fine art photographer with numerous books and regular exhibits in museums and galleries around the country.
 
Her next book, by Down East Books with an expected publishing date of spring/2015, features her trademark black and white photographs in a study of children living year-round and summers on three Maine islands. Her last book was the award-winning Maine Street, which documented the people in her hometown.
 
McLean works exclusively with natural light and her preferred medium is film.
