Norman Mauskopf is the recipient of a W. Eugene Smith Fellowship and has had four photography books published by Twin Palms Publishers. The most recent, Descendants, focuses on the Hispanic community of northern New Mexico. His previous books include A Time Not Here, which focused on African-American culture in rural Mississippi; Dark Horses, which documented the world of thoroughbred horse racing; and Rodeo, which captured the life of professional rodeo cowboys. Norman's photographs have been included in solo and group exhibitions including two shows at the Visa Pour L'Image Festival in Perpignan, France. He has worked for a variety of magazine and corporate clients and has been a dedicated photographic educator for thirty years.
