Jonathan is a filmmaker and photographer from the Penobscot Bay area. He is currently employed as an editor for Compass Light, a production house based out of Camden, Maine. When he’s not working for Compass Light, Jonathan spends his time working on short films highlighting a variety of local Maine artists. 
 
Graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in New Media from the University of Maine Orono, Jonathan focused in time based art where he honed his skills in producing canvases that transform over time. Achieving this primarily through film production and animation. Jonathan is constantly brushing up on new editing practices regarding Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Maya, and many more applications. Having started with Adobe Premiere CS3, Jonathan has continued to edit with Premiere  through its many transitions from his early college career to present day with his most recent productions currently in progress.
 
In Jonathan’s productions, he is constantly looking for new ways to enrich the viewers experience. His camera work is highly recognizable though its motion and framing, having logged several hundred hours of Glidecam work, the motion he brings to the canvas creates a unique perspective highlighting an assortment of individuals, landscapes, and ideas captured in each frame.
