Jana Kopelentova Rehak, Ph.D.,professor at Loyola University Maryland,holds a doctorate in cultural anthropology from American Univ., and an MFA from the Univ. of Delaware in photography, and a BA in photo and film studies from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). She is author of Czech Political Prisoners: Recovering Face (Lexington Books, 2012).
A third generation photographer, her work is deeply connected to the portrait and the landscape. She has exhibited her work in Scotland, Norway, the Czech Republic and the USA.
