Hopper Stone

Hopper Stone started his career as a photojournalist in 1988. In 1996 he decided to make a change to the film industry and took Kerry Hayes' Set Photography class. After working his way up through the industry, Hopper is honored to be asked to teach the very class which helped him get his start. Hopper has worked in both TV and Film on such projects as "Modern Family", "American Reunion" and most recently "Captain Phillips" starring Tom Hanks for Sony Pictures. Hopper is a member of the Local 600 (IATSE) camera union as well as the Society of Motion Picture Still Photographers (SMPSP). In 2012, Hopper was honored with the Publicists Guild Award for Excellence in Television Still Photography.
