A graduate from Goddard College’s MFA program, David’s interests range from graphic design and new media, to painting and sculpture.

He is a practicing artist: a prolific painter with a taste for sculpture, installations, and environments that utilize elements of new media. He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Maine and his work is regularly shown at Asymmetrick Arts in Rockland, Maine.  His work revolves around the topics of sense of place.

David initially earned his B.A. in Studio Art from the University of Maine, Orono, where he was introduced to the field of new media.  Since that time he has taught fine art and multimedia courses in both workshop and college environments.

In addition to his teaching experience, David has spent a number of years in the digital print industry, (as machine operator, graphic designer, and production manager) David now serves as Art Director for Custom Museum Publishing in Rockland, Maine, where he exercises his talent for custom design/illustration through the development of effective marketing products for a diverse clientele that ranges from self-publishing authors to prominent museums and galleries.

David lives in Appleton, Maine with his wife Ruth and daughters Elana and Izraelle.
