Bragi F. Schut
Bragi Schut Jr. is a screenwriter and director working in Hollywood, California. He is the creator of the CBS series THRESHOLD, starring Carla Gugino and Charles Dutton, and has written numerous screenplays including THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER (Phoenix Pictures), CRIMINAL MACABRE (Dark Horse) and an untitled project for director Roland Emmerich.
Schut is also the winner of the Academy Award Foundation's Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting for his 2003 script, SEASON OF THE WITCH, which is currently in production starring Nicolas Cage and Ron Perlman. He has directed three award winning shorts including CHARLIE THISTLE, which was an official selection to the Palm Springs Short Film Festival and won prizes at Nantucket, Sedona, Rushes Soho Shorts, AOF, and The Doorpost Film Project.
Schut is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and was chosen to participate in the Writer's Guild Showrunner Training Program.
