Andrea Maio is a filmmaker, writer, artist and teacher with deep roots in the Midwest. She has taught film production at University of Missouri, University of Wisconsin and Interlochen Center for the Arts in Northwestern Michigan. While much of her work is focused on the great lakes states, her work is far-reaching. It has been featured on International Public Radio's This American Life and has screened in festivals and galleries internationally. She is currently producing a TV show about sustainable pleasures.
