Christopher Keane is the author of fourteen books and a two dozen screenplays. Among his screenplay credits are:
DANGEROUS COMPANY (WB) with and MR. AND MRS. BLISS (ABC). From his own books he has adapted THE HUNTER (Paramount), THE CROSSING (WB) and most recently, THE HUNTRESS, based upon his book, a hit TV series on USA Network, on which he was also a writer & co-producer. His books include THE MAXIMUS ZONE, THE HEIR, CHRISTMAS BABIES, and DELIRIUM. He is the author of HOW TO WRITE A SELLING SCREENPLAY (Random House/Broadway), a popular text on the process, and HOT PROPERTY: Screenwriting in the New Hollywood (Penguin/Putnam, 2003). Christopher started writing novels right out of college, but gained his early literary experience writing love letters. He is an adjunct professor at the Emerson College Graduate School in Boston and lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
His current projects include:
LOST LIGHT adapting a book on the life of Mary Pinchot Meyer, JFK's dark mistress of Camelot, for producer Peter Janney. And MADNESS, adapting a psychosexual thriller about dark doctors, with Michael Schiffer and Keith Ablow (book author).
This will be Chris' thirteenth summer at The Workshops.
