Directions
The Maine Media Gallery is located at
18 Central Street, in Rockport, Maine.
From the North:
Travelling South on Route One, proceed through Camden, and continue past the Hannaford Plaza. Turn left on Main Street in Rockport, just beyond Maine Sport. Proceed straight on Main Street past the police and fire station on your left to the center of Rockport village. After passing Pascal Avenue with its bridge on the right, follow curve to the left onto Central Street, past Union Hall, on your right (the first red brick building), and continue to the second large brick building on your right. The Maine Media Gallery is the far left entrance on the street level of 18 Central Street, in the Shepherd Building.
From the South:
If you are coming from the South, take Interstate 95 north into Maine. Take the South Portland Exit (I-295) and follow I-295 through Portland. Continue on I-295 to the Brunswick Route 1 Exit (Exit 28). Follow Route One through Brunswick, Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Damariscotta and Waldoboro to Warren - about 45 miles, where you'll find Route 90 at a blinking yellow light. Take a left onto Route 90 and follow it 12 miles to the third set of stop lights. The Market Basket, a green barn, will be on your right. Proceed straight through the lights until you reach a "T" intersection. Turn left and proceed on Pascal Avenue toward Rockport village. After crossing the bridge at the head of the harbor, turn right onto Main Street. Follow curve to the left onto Central Street, past Union Hall, on your right (the first red brick building), and continue to the second large brick building on your right. The Maine Media Gallery is the far left entrance on the street level of 18 Central Street, in the Shepherd Building.
