In his 30 years of teaching at the Workshops, Arnold Newman influenced hundreds of young artists. This exhibition highlights the work of several artists who have connections to the Workshops and have become renowned photographers in their own right. This exhibition will be on display from July 26 to August 14 at the Maine Media Gallery in conjunction with a series of events surrounding the inaugural award of the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture.
The Maine Media Gallery is open to the public and located at 18 Central Street in Rockport Village. The Gallery will be open Mon-Fri, 10am-12pm and 2-5pm. There will also be hours on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm.
