Now through November 19 Maine Media Gallery welcomes the community to its current exhibition, Going Forward, Looking Back: Practicing Historic Photographic Processes in the 21st Century.
With a long and deep commitment to historic photographic processes, the Workshops remains one of the few places in the world where one can learn the full gamut of these enchanting techniques. No wonder then that critic Philip Isaacson deems this traveling show, "absolutely wonderful." Workshops faculty are in abundance. Tillman Crane, John Goodman, Brenton Hamilton, Sean Harris, Cig Harvey, and Christopher James are all represented in the show.
Going Forward, Looking Back is on exhibit at the beautiful Maine Media Gallery Monday through Saturday from 2-5 pm through November 19.
Sponsored by Bangor Savings bank, Maine. The magazine, and Maine Home + Design, this exhibition is free and open to the public. The Maine Media Gallery is on the first floor of the Shepherd Building, 18 Central Street, Rockport Village.
