Join us for a special day of events with renowned photographer Bruce Davidson on Saturday, August 21.
The day's events begin at 2 pm at the Rockport Opera House with a lecture and presentation by Bruce Davidson. The events continue with a book signing and gallery reception at the Maine Media Gallery for an opening of Davidson's work.
The Rockport Opera House is located at 6 Central Street in Rockport Village.
In conjunction with the publication of a three-volume retrospective edition entitled Bruce Davidson: Outside Inside, Bruce comes back to the Workshops to mount an exhibition with selections from his 50-year career as one of America's foremost photographers. His exhibition will be on display at the Maine Media Gallery from August 16 until October 1.
Maine Media Gallery is on the first floor of the Shepherd Building, 18 Central Street, Rockport Village. The Gallery will be open Mon-Fri, 10am-12pm and 2-5pm. There will also be hours Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7-8pm.
